Corruption helps me(read: Officials/workers) work less. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: common man) get away from Traffic Violations without major fine or cancellation of my Driving License. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: common man) get my LPG Cylinder out of Turn. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: contractors) get contracts, so that I can do more business and earn more. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: contractors) do shabby job and get away with it without getting punished. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: criminals) avoid punishment for my crimes. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: policeman) make my living while I official salary is pittance. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: politicians) to bribing voters, ignore all rules to win elections when I am not competent to rule. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: religious converts) to still wrongly state my religion for reservation benefits. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: businessman) to understate my income and pay less tax. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: common man) get ticket on trains and buses without any reservation. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: auto drivers) charge exorbitant from my passengers and nobody punishes me. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: vehicle owners) flout pollution norms and get away with it. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: officials) bully general public who are ignorant and get away unpunished for not following rules. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: common man) encroach on Public Property. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: buyers) understate property value and avoid paying registration charges. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: official/politician) divert funds meant for relief to my own pocket. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me (read: common man) get admission in a good college without good marks or get a job in government department/organisation without good qualifications. Isn’t this Beneficial?

Corruption helps me…. It does… That is why it is still there. Had it been useless it would have disappeared long back…

So, why do people fight corruption? why do we hear so much noise about it being bad?

Are people genuinely concerned? No. They are not. They raise their voice or murmur because somebody has used Corruption to his own advantage and they am not benefited from it. As long as one can get things done through Corruption, IT IS BENEFICIAL, only when one is left behind because of Corruption, do they raise their voice.
